Cerwin Vega XED62 6.5 inch 300 Watts 4 Ohms 2-Way Car Audio Speakers Coaxial Full Range

This purchase was specifically for a 1975 Mercedes Benz 450SL project, and used one of those shady Chinese branded receivers, just because the old receiver was broken, was a single din and my dad wanted to install a rear camera. Great price. Used these speakers on various vehicles with different receivers. Maximized the sound quality by adjusting the graphic equalizer via a spectrum analyzer and a calibrated mic. These are the speakers I always go to, whenever I need a replacement.

I’m giving them 5 stars because they fit exactly in the mix of what I wanted. I replaced my Hertz Deici 6.5s with these. Not that the Cerwin Vegas are louder crisper or anything like that. But the Hertz had ear piercing highs no matter how I adjusted them. If they were in a car or truck they probably would’ve been outstanding. But since they were in my soundbar in a jeep there was no relief. The Cerwin Vegas are more thank adequate with nice mids, decent mid bass and highs that aren’t overbearing. As of now they’re set up straight to my Alpine 407 radio but will be hooked up to the amp this weekend and I’m betting they’ll sound even better. Very pleased with my purchase.

I finally removed my rear door speakers from my 2004 car, as they were both blown and horribly placed by the engineers. Seriously, the speakers were muffled fully when one closed the door. The previous owner of the car wasn't big into sound and got the lowest priced sound package but great lumbar adjustment seating. So I removed the back door speakers, and instead put two cerwin vegas in the far back, above the hatch. (I am a weirdo, who listens with his EARS, not knees) Then I pulled the front out and swapped with these cerwin vegas. Now I have a deeper, richer, speaker set, without muffling the rear speakers, and for my needs, they are great. I always liked the cerwin vega brand, and have had them in the house, so I figured, why not the car.

I just order 6x9 front doors speakers and 6x5 back door speakers for my Nissan frontier. I really don't people know how good cerwin vegas are. They sleeping on cerwin vegas. My buddy had a whole sound system of cerwin vega and he would blow systems like audiobahn and JL audio out of the water. Cerwin vega is just as good as any other very expensive speaker that you are going to pay an arm and leg for. These speakers are sleepers. They may not cost much or look like much but they will blow your mind with sound and quality.

Installed in 95 Chevy Tahoe rear doors. Fit perfect in factory locations and still behind the factory door panel. Sounded great at a reasonable price. Will need to cut off factory speaker connector and install new connectors.

Great for medium budget sound, not premium. But it is only a 6.5” so not a lot of bass. But the midrange and high are fantastic at this price. I added the Walmart 10” sub and these CV’s make the total system fantastic. Would def buy again

OMG OMG OMG! I have tried 2 other brands of 6.5 inch speakers for my Kia Rio S (2020). Nothing has performed as well as these! The BASS is felt! The highs are crisp! The sound is LOUD! Love love love these speakers! Had I known CV put out such great products, i'd have bought these first!

I was a little skeptical at first if these $60 speakers would be any good, and I could not be happier with my decision. Cerwin Vega has been around a long time and they know a thing or two about speaks. First off, these are two way speakers meaning they give of a more chunky bass than say 3 or 4-ways. And they definitely deliver! I replaced the blown out rear door speakers in my Pontiac G8 and they make a world's difference adding some muscle to the already buff sounding amplified stereo. They add a ton of bass and do it very well. I was very impressed with the sound and honestly have nothing bad to say about these speakers. They are made strong by a company that's been around since 1954 and has a legendary reputation producing loudspeakers for big names such as Fender. Overall a great product and I would buy these again!!

Compré éstas bocinas 6.5" como parte de reemplazar las 4 bocinas principales, junto con unas Cerwin-Vega XED603. La mejora que trajeron las 6x9 fue tanta (ver reseña de las XED603) que, mis expectativas acerca de las XED62 fueron quiza muy altas. Aqui les dejo los pro's y contra's de las XED62= contra: - Entregan muy escasos tonos bajos. Muy escasos. Las specs de Cerwin Vega para éste par dicen muy claramente que su respuesta de frecuencias va de los 60 Hz en adelante, lo cual yá excluye algunos tonos bajos .... mi sorpresa en realidad de debe a que sus hermanas mayores (las XED603), que cuentan con una spec de 50Hz sí entregan muy buenos graves. A la hora de evaluar éstas 6.5s, hice una prueba con la bocina 6.5 original de Honda de un lado, y ésta del otro y fue sorprendente cómo la bocina Honda, que ya es de por sí bastante limitada, le puso una revolcada a las Cerwin-Vega en cuestión de graves. - Si en tu set-up de sonido NO tienes alguno otro componente de graves, entonces toma nota que estas bocinas no te ayudaran de mucho en ese aspecto. A Favor (Pro's) : - Tienen muy buena sensibilidad (+94 dB) de forma que dan un volumen muy "rendidor" - La claridad y separacion de sonidos es excelente. En la misma prueba "Honda vs Cerwin-Vega", éstas XED65 reprobaron en los graves PERO ... daban unos medios y agudos tan superiores que fue una decision muy dificil de tomar.

These are a great deal.they sound great....and handle my 600 watt amp with no problem..
