Huge Cotton Fabric Durga Ma Mother Goddess Yoga 43" X 30" Tapestry

I bought this for use during Navratri celebrations to serve as a backdrop to our Golu. Everybody paid complements to this tapestry and observed how it made the Golu display special. The tapestry looks well made, he fabric feels strong and I am very pleased.

The tapestry had some golden sequins, which I wasn't expecting but they make the tapestry so much prettier. They do come off somewhat easily though, so I would be very gentle when unwrapping and hanging. Otherwise, for the price, it's a nice tapestry. The colors are nice and vibrant too.

Very nice, brightens my otherwise sterile, builder grade white office. Better made than I thought it would be. It was worth buying just to experience receiving something shipped from India. The 5 copies of the shipping bill was a great cross cultural insight.

The only reason I'm giving this four stars, instead of five, is because of the edging. The other Hindu tapestries I've ordered from Amazon for the same price are serged around the edges to create a more sturdy tapestry. This one is not. So, it is cut a bit unevenly and there are some strings as well as the raw cuts. There's also some chalk marks where they marked it to cut, but those come off easily. The sequins, like many of the others I have, are prone to coming off of you vacuum your tapestries (which I do lol) or brush against them. This doesn't much bother me, but I could see some people disliking the fact. Is it still worth it? At this price point, absolutely. I don't mind these small details, as the print itself is more important to me. The print is absolutely beautiful and striking. My other similar tapestries are going on four years without losing any color or vibrance. Ma Durga looks beautiful and fierce. This alone makes it a worthy purchase for me. Cool, nice sized hanging with great colors, even has some sequin embellishments. Only complaint is that the sides arent hemmed, so it may unravel. Super price, shipped fast.

This is a very pretty tapestry however they need to let you know how thin it is.Also it doesnt have hooks to hang it up you must creat something in the back to hang it,but the color and details are striking and done well.
