Kodak Series 10 Printhead - 90 Day Warranty

Tried removing and cleaning the old printhead with a 50% water and ammonia solution. Dried, reinstalled and recalibrated but the printing remained blurry - no improvement. Replaced the old printhead with this new one. Recalibrated and ran the clean printhead cycle. All that printed was a blank sheet even after after 2 full cycles. I then waited 5 minutes to let the ink penetrate the printhead's felt spots and the problem was solved. Presently printer works like new. Also cleaning the old printhead might have worked had I soaked it overnight...I didn't as I had the new one handy. As Kodak printheads are matched to the ink cartridge this printhead should work if you use 10b and 10c cartridges in your printer. It should not work on Kodak printers that use 30 series cartridges.

Completely fixed the issues I was having with my s*** Kodak ESP 7 all-in-one printer. My printer was printing very faint images even right after both black and color cartridges were replaced. Plus, I rarely use my printer. Maybe the lack of use dried up the print head? I never had this issue with any of my HP printers at work. I've attempted to get help from Kodak to no avail. Customer rep kept trying to sell me a new print head for a ridiculous amount of money plus shipping. Decided to check out Amazon, and voila! Amazon, what don't you carry? If you want a decent printer, never go with Kodak! Bad designs and horrible customer service and worst of all, this machine consumes and wastes way too much ink!

Sadly, I could not get this to work. I have a Kodak hero 6.1 and it was supposed to be comparable. It fits in well, but the printer continues to say it is not installed correctly. I retried several times. It clicks into place and looks go, but the printer rejects it in the long run. I wondered if the metal connector might have gotten scratched in the shipping and making it so the printer can't read it. Maybe I should try to a different one before giving up completely. So disappointing!!!

Printhead arrived quickly, was easy to install and fixed the problem I was having with my Kodak ESP 7250. Would purchase from this vendor again.

My Kodak Hero 9.1 had lost it's ability to print cleanly. I had also tried using aftermarket inks which I am sure did not help the situation. Obviously the print head had dried out and needed to be replaced. I can't say for sure how much time not being used contributed to the print head getting gummed up vs the use of the aftermarket inks. But I installed this Kodak brand printhead and also purchased the Kodak brand inks which I intend to keep doing. By spending the money to install a new printhead and use the correct Kodak inks it has made my printer operate like it did when it was brand new. It is an easy tool free installation and I would highly recommend this to replace a damaged printhead if you have one as they are not expensive. So all is well again within minutes after receiving the printhead and new ink in the mail. Very cheap way to get a decent printer working again.

Worked for a while, but clogged like original.

I have a ESP 9 printer and I want to keep it working for a few more years As with anything, you have to do maintenance and after a while the print was looking crappy and I knew I had to replace the print head. It's great that Kodak sells them here I wish Kodak still made printers, because honestly they are the best AND the cheapest (per print cartridge) It's bad they don't anymore..... really like it and want to keep it going for a few more years.

It worked right away and was quite a relief as the printer is about seven years old. I thought I was on the Amazon Canadian web site so I was hit with a +25% price increase! I didn't appreciate the con game you guys run with delivery charges. I figured the premium wasn't worth the extra money so opted for the regular even though it would, according to you , take an extra week. It arrived at the 'premium' delivery time - which I assume is the regular time anyway. Not sound long term thinking on your part. As far as Kodak is concerned, I later had to re-install 'new printer' which took 40 minutes to download and re-install and during a process one is never too confident about, it sends messages such as "failed to detect new printer" at the end of the tortuous process and "Restart Download"' I ignored these spurious messages and everything worked once the computer had been restarted.,
