Toter Blackstone Trash Can with Wheels and Attached Lid, 48 Gallon

Pretty tough receptacle, handles alot of volume and still rolls easy. Worth the money!!!

I needed a bigger trashcan. It is next to the first one I ordered from Amazon I decided to post this picture to help other people see the difference between a 64 gallon and a 32 gallon trash bin.

Shipping is weird as it was delivered next day but shows an estimated date 5 days later It’s exactly what I was looking for tho, sturdy, size and easy to maneuver up and down the driveway.

Someone stole mine.. this 1 was bigger and came in 2 days.. wow great, just when I needed it!!

If you keep an eye out for a sale, you can get the 64 gallon version from Amazon for just under $70, which is about the same price local big box and warehouse stores sell it for, but with the convenience of not needing to figure out how to get it home. At that price, the Toter is a pretty great deal, relative to similar sized cans in the price range. The construction is rigid, but won't shatter if it gets hit by a car or garbage truck (I've seen both happen, and the Toter didn't even crack or lose shape). Wheeling it around is a breeze for me at 6'1", and the geometry makes it easy to move a full load around for most adults and older children. I bought this to match one I bought a few months ago, but noticed that they seem to have redesigned the 64 gallon a little bit. The lid is no longer the same as pictured. It now looks much more similar to the 96 gallon model. It's not a big deal, and you'd really have to look to notice a difference, but functionally, the older design had an upper lip that made it a bit easier (and cleaner) to open. Nothing I'd send it back for, but if I had known, I probably would have gone back to the store to get the older style.

I needed to replace my Rubbermaid wheeled garbage bin which seems not to have lasted as long as I needed it to. I definitely wanted a quality one that would be long lasting so I won’t have to replace it again-maybe ever. I chose the Blackstone material and it looks quite durable. I like the metal bar on the front that my garbage company uses to lift the heavy cans. This one looks more durable being metal. My other one was plastic and integrated in the can design and that was its downfall. Once it cracked the whole can started cracking. This material number one seems a tougher material and will hold up better but the hook is stronger too. I got the 64 gallon size after much debate. The smaller one was smaller than my old can so I decided to size up to this one. I won’t normally fill this size but there will be occasions when I do so better to go up than down. I look forward to many years of rolling this out to my curb.

Very poor quality item. And very bad customer service. I’ve had this item for a little over a month and the crack is almost to the middle of the can. Contacted customer service for a replacement, but because it’s outside the 30 day return policy, the third party won’t answer the messages, so I am stuck with $300 damaged trash can. Also Amazon won’t do anything about it as well. No one wants to take responsibility for the damaged item. It’s so frustrating, because an item like this should be able to withstand trash pickup days and everything in-between. I should be able to use it for many months to come, maybe years. And that is not the case. Completely unsatisfied with the quality of the product and the lack of customer service.
