Like others say, you can smell the candle once you remove it from the outer box. It’s very well packaged which is a good thing due to glass container. It can be tricky to remove the candle from the styrofoam packaging so be patient and careful! The smell of the citrus mint candle is just beautiful. I used it in my standard size living room and the scent filled the room nicely. The crackle sound from the wick is a nice touch. It’s beautiful as a gift or to own as it comes in a lovely outer wrapping. I’ve bought Dyptique and Jo Malone which are double the price and this is just as good. Highly recommend and will buy again.

I love the smell of the candle so much - we have a dark amber & fig hand soap that we use & are in love with and this candle is the closest smell we can find & it's amazing. I love the container of the candle and the wrapping it came in was gift-quality ready - it was very fancy! The only reason I am giving it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because the wick of our candle came with part of it split (as in pictures) which makes the flame much louder than expected - I'm hoping that further in the candle it fixes itself. Overall - amazing product, great smell & the container is also really pretty! Updated to 5/5 as I realized the wick is meant to come like that after ordering a 2nd one (again shows how amazing this candle is)

I don't know that I've ever paid this much for a candle. But now I understand there is a difference between cheaper candles and these. Throw is great, glass jar makes it a centerpiece, and scent (golden fir) is a pine scent, which I like.

This is a review of the large Starlit Golden Fir candle - And it’s just wonderful!! The decorative green glass jar is exquisite, and reflects the candle flame beautifully. The scent is just right - noticeable but not too strong, and makes me feel sooo snug…. The wax burns evenly and seems to last far longer than advertised, even though I’ve already been using the candle for quite some time. And finally, oh my word, the crackling wick is simply delightful!! - on a cold winter night, with the rain slapping on the window and the wind howling through the trees outside my flat, the noise it makes (audible but not too loud) is as cosy and comforting as a log fire!! I can’t recommend this highly enough 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Its a great smelling candle in beautiful packaging but I wish the fact that the wick crackles was made clear in the product description as I do not like it

Gorgeous packaging, quality candle in a beautiful glass reusable jar

Came wrapped in wrapping paper and ribbon. Larger than I expected it to be but the colour was accurate and the scent reminds me of some posh hotel lobbies (strong and fortunately, pleasant). I don't need to burn this any more than an hour at a time or the fragrance becomes too intense. it's very pretty when lit. We use this one after cooking or with guests over for the lounge area. I bought a smaller one which I light in the bathroom.

Very nice smell and initial crackling noise but found that the wick breaks very very easily even on its own and once it does it starts making a quite unpleasant 'rasping' noise instead of the crackle like it's struggling to stay alight

Very happy with the quality of this beautiful candle. Love the smell and the crackling wick. It was delivered beautifully wrapped and packed. Will definitely be getting some more of these after this one is over.
