A Really Great Bargain - Great MC Jacket
March 25, 2026: (Second Impressions)After 10 days: Still impressed! I've used this jacket riding from 45° to 70° F. It has met or exceeded all of my expectationsvand anticipation of use as noted below. I ride a Honda Pacific Coast 800, that has great wind protection. If you ride a naked bike bike your experience will be different.I've ridden at 45° with it's inner liner, and a Columbia fleece. I've also ridden with a down vest, and just the liner, and the jacket alone. Talk about adaptability with protection. Today it was 72° F, and I rode with just the jacket and a short sleeve cotton shirt. With the sleeves more open, the vents at the wrist open, a little bit unzipped from the neck, and the waist not cinched tight, I had great air flow and was totally comfortable. I will swap this out with my ventilated jacket as soon as normal temperatures are 70° and above. But this gives me such a range of temperatures before that, and I think it would be comfortable even when it's hotter. For me, the XL worked well because I could add the under layers for colder temperatures, but I've learned that having it slightly larger gave better ventilation at 72°. Read more for my first impressions and some fitment suggestions. My only caveat about this is I wish it had inside pocket for a cell phone. My cell phone fits in the outside pockets, but that is less than ideal primarily because on a trip I would like better access. I'm an "attention fanatic" meaning I don't know anything on my handlebars to distract me because that can be quite literally fatal. The only time I've ever used my cell phone on a trip is using Bluetooth with it in my pocket.March 15, 2026My FIRST IMPRESSIONS of this jacket is that it is quite impressive. I read all the reviews and bought an extra large rather than large, if you look at the SIZING CHART, you will see that I probably would not have been happy with a large, definitely not a medium. I think XL was a good choice. I wear a 42 long suit coat, I'm 6' foot tall and 175 lb, and gaining. I'll include detailed information and accompanying pictures which I think will inform you very well about the jacket. At $79.99 this is what we used to call a 'steal.' Every component of it looks extremely well made, good quality zippers, hefty snaps, good stitching and good material. I don't have any problem with the back pad, it's a fairly thin dense foam, but the jacket itself would really protect from abrasion first. With the pads and the liner it weighs just under 4 lb total. The ELBOW AND SHOULDER pads are substantial and fit well in the zippered pockets made for them. Also the ZIPPER LINING is not heavyweight, which is exactly what I wanted. You'll see that I use a fleece Columbia long sleeve jacket for my innermost layer, the type of fleece you might wear around the house in the winter if you're a little chilly and like to wear a T-shirt. Based on past experience, and I'll updated when I have more information from a ride, this would be fine at at least 50°and likely even at 45° F. Prior I was wearing a lightweight mesh ventilated padded motorcycle jacket with the Colombia liner, and a heavier overcoat. This will do really great for me because in Minnesota you may start Riding at 45° in the morning and it could be 60° or warmer in the afternoon. Even if you live in a more TEMPERATE CLIMATE, on a trip you may encounter variation like that because of altitude. I assume most people are like me and don't ride at all below 35° F, unless on a trip. I expect the jacket itself will be just fine over a t-shirt at 70°. So this will really give me all the options I need. The COLOR is definitely RED, and there is a picture that shows it side by side to my Honda "Victory Red" color motorcycle. It's not a blood deep red, but I think it will add great visibility, the two will compliment each other and of course it has a reflective strip in the back and front. The bottom sides have VELCRO CLOSURES to tighten up and prevent wind coming up from the bottom. The sleeve cuffs have similar closures that cinch them down properly. The waist and wrist enclosures also have zippered sections about 5 in long to open them up a few inches. I expect this will help with ventilation in hot weather. This is really a STELLAR QUALITY PRODUCT that I wish I had ever had eight or nine years ago when I rode cross country, with my primary 'gear' being a Sam's Club jacket. I never planned to be sliding down the highway on my elbows and shoulders and back, knees either? And I didn't. But I'm getting older so if that happened it is going to be a problem, one I still don't plan to experience, but this jacket will help a whole lot, and NO the jacket won't be mentioned in my obituary if that does happen. Motorcycle Humor. And, thank you for your time reading my review. I had fun writing it. 🏍️

Great Quality and protection.
I ride a Yamaha Super Ténéré and I’ve been very impressed with this jacket for the price. The material feels durable and well made, especially considering the cost. The shoulder and elbow armor are thick and provide solid protection, while still being flexible and comfortable to wear. The back protector is fairly thin, but it’s still better than having no protection at all.For sizing reference, I’m 6’3” and 190 lbs. I normally wear a size Large in shirts and jackets, but after reading other reviews, I decided to order an XL. I’m glad I did because the fit is perfect.I’ve tried on some of the premium motorcycle jackets that cost $500 or more, and honestly, I feel this jacket offers very similar protection for a fraction of the price. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely buy this jacket again.

This jacket really is a tremendous value and great quality
This is a great jacket, especially at the price. It's heavyweight, waterproof, and pretty comfortable considering it's built like a tank. The zippers are very high quality. Every bit of this jacket is very high quality. I was surprised when I received it just how heavy it was. Assuming I keep my wheels on the road, this will last for years - and if I don't, it's a small price to pay for the protection it provides. The shoulders, back, and elbows have good protection. You have the option to upgrade the pads to increase protection, but since I'm on an e-bike that won't exceed 30 MPH, I think the protection it provides is more than sufficient. The fabric alone provides a great deal of protection.I would size up. I would normally take a large, but it was too small once I put the pads in. I exchanged it for an XL and it fits perfectly, especially since it has Velcro straps at the waist that allow you to sinch it tighter around that area and prevent any wind from getting in.This jacket really is a tremendous value and great quality. I can't recommend it enough. I do wish they had the matching pants. You CAN get matching pants (with a different brand name, but obviously the same manufacturer) through other sites - you know the ones that take a couple of weeks to get an order. I do wish they had them her under this brand name. But it doesn't take away from the excellence of this jacket.

Good but not for cold winter
I wore this while riding a 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 as well as a 2025 Harley Davidson Breakout. Both don't have windshields. Good price for a motorcycle jacket with good looks, armor, and feel. This is good for over 55 degrees (F). Anything less, you're going to be cold, unless you have warm clothes underneath (or better yet, warming clothes). I've tried it in mid 70's as well (with the liner in) and it was comfortable. It looks good but the pictures on Amazon have a nicer "sheen" to them. So it looks good but not as good as it does in the pictures. It has fasteners in all the right places (wrists, arms, etc.). Decent pockets. Could always use more. Armor is adequate (the back armor is a bit thin but you can upgrade it yourself). At 6'1" and 215 lbs (weight lifter so a bit more upper body mass), it fit well and I could also wear a hard plastic chest and back shield under it (size XL). It's very lightweight so it doesn't burden you during your ride. Overall, I would buy this again. Looks: A+. Features: A. Protection: A. Cold Riding: A-. If it had a warmer liner (for like 35F riding), I'd give it 5 stars.

Borleni motorcycle jacket. Great value for a high-quality motorcycling protection jacket.
I have used this several times now through the winter and I can attest that this is a high-quality jacket. Much fine or quality than what I was anticipating at the price point. The protections are very well made, and fit in very well. The size, I found to be very true. Fits me perfectly. You can tighten down the arms, wrist, etc.. The zipper appears to be very high-quality as well. I have not removed the inner warm liner yet as we’re still in the cold season. Hopefully that will be pretty easy to take on and off as we’re getting into the time of year now that I may want it in the morning, but not in the afternoon. Overall, at this price point, I would absolutely recommend anybody who wants to get a motorcycle jacket buy this.

Great motorcycle jacket!
Wow. I ride a BMW K1600 GTL and it is my passion. I ride mostly when others don't, like winter in Colorado :-).I purchased some great BMW pants earlier this year and couldn't be happier. $900 pants they sold for $300. I just returned to BMW of Denver and looked at jackets and they were $1000 approx. One jacket that fit me and that they said they had held for a long time and it could make me a deal on an offered it to me for $799. I offered them $500.I'm super glad they didn't accept my offer because for $100 this check is every bit of anything they had it is so well-made the fit is incredible and the quality is equally as good as the BMW if not better. It is also free of the BMW arrogance. The jacket details are perfect and frankly I have no idea how this product is produced for a profit! Thank you!!!

Exceeds Expectations - Good Value
Exceeds expectations for this price point. While it won't provide the same protection as leather, it is a comfortable textile jacket with padding at shoulders, elbows and back. Has a removable liner that provides additional temperature versatility. Runs a bit small. I usually take a large, but XL was a better fit for me at 5' 11" and 200 pounds.

Good value and quality for the money.
This review will be highly subjective, because this jacket is very much a use-case scenario; i.e.: if it's for the reasons I bought it and will note here, great, buy it. If you're looking for something that goes more towards the negatives I point out, go with something else. Overall, I say it's a great buy for the price, especially compared with brand-name stuff.Pros:Out of the box, everything seems to be good quality, especially for the price; seems quite robust in fabric and stitching, and looks like it will take a good roughing-up and not tear up, but only time will tell.Regarding size: if you're looking to use it over other clothing, especially regular wear (I was/am), then the sizing is good; if you're looking for the adjusted/super-sport canyon/track carver fit, go a size smaller, or with a different design/style altogether, as it's slightly bulky.Re the fabric weight, same thing, I wanted it as a super outer layer, but if you're doing track days and stuff, get something else (it's almost more of sport-tourer jacket than a super-sport, although I imagine it would be good for cruisers and standards). The removable liner is perfect for my case: not too thick and warm (S. FL; and I didn't even break a sweat riding home int he Miami heat this PM from the pickup point)), but good insulation on chilly mornings, and easy to install/remove. Same with the armor pieces.Limited adjustability, but there is some weight snaps and straps (see below as well).Cons:It's quite a bit brighter/"orangier" red than appears in the listing. I imagine this will fade with time and usage (sun exposure), and it actually insures greater visibility, but it's definitely an octave up from Honda Red (I'm a Honda guy). The pockets are smaller than expected; they work fine, but getting gloves in and out of them is not as smooth as I'd want. The adjustment snaps and straps are fine, but the folds created in the fabric when they're used look like the'll cause a little wind drag; again, only time and use will tell here (same with weather-proofing).

GRAN COMPRA
