So this is the weedkiller I didn't know I needed until recently. Like many, I have been buying the big brand name for years believing they were the most effective that non-professional users could buy. These products, often with acetic acid (vinegar) as their active ingredient, always looked impressive. Within hours of application the weeds started to wilt and contort - surely in their death throes? But after a few days, the weeds just started recovering. Sure, they might have lost a few leaves but new, green growth starts to show and the weeds just keep on coming. Gallup Glyphosate couldn't be more different. I mixed it with water in a garden sprayer exactly to the directions on the bottle - there is absolutely no need to try and make it stronger by using less water as recommended by at least one other reviewer. There were a few dandelions in my kill zone so I picked off the flowers before I sprayed to avoid attracting pollinators which could have been harmed. Application is quick and easy. Just wet the leaves with a quick spray, preferably on a sunny day so the solution dries quickly and it is safe for children and animals to use the treated area. After a week, the results are initially disappointing. I honestly couldn't see any indication that it was working and started wondering had I wasted my money again? But then, about day 10 I noticed some of the grasses were reacting. It looked like they were growing too quickly and the blades were starting to curl and curve. From then on, the results were remarkable. Every weed just wilted, turned brown and died. After four weeks the process was over. Not a speck of green remained on my driveway and other treated areas. Even a troublesome ivy which has defied previous attacks and savage pruning finally succumbed to the inevitable. Very impressed with this product. I will definitely buy it again but probably won't have to for a while as I still have more than half a bottle left.

I bought this stuff a few weeks ago. I was sceptical of the good reviews, but just knew I needed a different approach to my current futile weed killing efforts. And so, I mixed up the concentrated liquid according to the instructions while using the gloves and easy little measuring cup provided. I prepared enough to fill a 5 litre pump-action sprayer I'd bought for this purpose, diluting the weedkiller with water from my garden hose. So far, so good. Then I embarked on spraying: the pebble borders, between multiple paving slabs in several areas (front and back of the house), wall crevices, and two driveways, refilling the sprayer as I needed more weedkiller. The first days after spraying were the worst. That waiting, when seemingly not one of the weeds were showing any sign of succumbing. Then, about 9 days later, they started to go brown, just a touch, but within the next couple of days they looked like straw. During that time, not one new weed has dared to sprout in any of the areas I've sprayed with this stuff. RESULT!!! You can probably tell I'm incredibly happy, super delighted, and over the moon - all at the same time. Fingers-crossed, I've finally found an alternative to going around the garden spraying with a 1 litre hand held bottle branded weedkiller from the supermarket tackling one weed at a time, or backbreakingly digging every weed out with roots intact to prevent them returning. I was even more impressed by how much weedkiller this little 1 litre concentrated bottle makes, to be fair. I've still got enough left to do it all over again, should I need to, it's great value :) I have no choice but to give this stuff 5 stars as it's so effective. I will update the review if anything changes, and keep my eye on how long between sprays these cracking results last. BIG thumbs up from me.

The product is very effective, requires a bit of patience, but after couple of applications an area is clear for a few months. this is my second purchase, and I was dissapointed there were no dilution instructions on the label - as it is for residential use (not professional) I was surprised at this. also the advertised measuring cup was not in the delivery.

After using branded ready to use weedkillers to control nettles in my garden, I decided to try something less expensive. I mixed the substance the according to the instructions and sprayed it immediately on the nettles. For a few days nothing really happened but from the fifth day I noticed the nettles were beginning to turn yellow. I'm super happy with the results so far. I'd have to wait and see whether it's able to kill the weeds at the root though. This concentrated weedkiller would be my go-to from hence forth because it's a cost-effective way of treating weeds if you have a medium to large sized garden.

Very good product, took a few days to work initially but after a 2nd treatment all the weeds died away. It has been 2 weeks and nothing has come back so far.

This is the best weedkiller I have used, does what it says. Military as in the instructions, spray the area and leave for two weeks to do it's job. I would highly recommend this product. Good value for the money and a handy size 1 ltr bottle. Used this to kill of an are before I put white stone chips down. All weeds turned brown after 1 week.

This stuff is another level! After years of the weekly battle of pulling and spraying , digging out, my back breaking , and trying everything under the sun to keep the dandelions , and all other sorts of un-killable weeds from popping up non stop between my slabs, and around my garden, I’ve finally found ‘The One’. I honestly never had much hope for this, sprayed it and left it, forgot about it, and after about a week and a half (it was bad) every single last one had shrivelled into a brown crispy mess! Scrubbed them all out with a wire weed brush, and not a thing has appeared back since and it’s been weeks now! Where have you been all my life Gallup! Best thing I have bought in a long time! Just make sure you keep your pets away from the area you’ve sprayed for around a week, I didn’t know this until I received it.
