Update after two months in the high pollen season in SW Ohio. I am glad I found these filters!
UPDATE: Pollen season started more than a month ago in SW Ohio. I have been using one filter/day for about 2 months. My nose allergy symptoms have significantly decreased. I only use my allergy nasal spray at night, before bed; and, maybe once a week, I take an oral antihistamine for some whole-body allergic symptoms. Before the nose filters, I had to take oral antihistamine daily from March to the first frost, in addition to my allergy nasal spray. To check the efficiency of the filters, one day I decided not to use them. By midafternoon, my nose was bright red, itching, and running like crazy. So, the next day, before I put the filters on, I did a nasal rinse. I have not stopped using the filters daily since, and now things are much better, like before. I have been using both types of filters, the 3M and the Welder's version. Both work for me, with the 3M being more comfortable. I put them on as soon as I wake up, and I take them out right before going to bed, because I sleep with a CPAP. I do not know if people notice them, or if they are just being polite by not asking me about them. It does not matter to me. I will continue using them as needed. They are really a life-changing devices, for the better. My first time. I got the Trial Size, and like with the Welder's version, the XL is the winner. My review is a comparisson with the Welder version, which I tried for the first time yesterday, for more than 12 hours straight. I did the same with the 3M. The 3M version is softer, its "presence" in the nose is easier to ignore. Because of its softeness, the 3M version is a touch harder to accomodate inside the nose. I had to try several times, whereas with the Welder's version it was easier. Once properly set, it does its job of filtering what is supposed to filter. Same as the Welders' version. I am "sensitive" to one of my cats, and with either one of the filters I had no issues whatsoever. Both did not cause any irritation whatsoever inside my nose. One interesting observation: With the 3M version, I can see the filtration membrane moving back-and-forth as I inhale/exhale; whereas with the Welders' version I could not. So, my conclussion is: you cannot go wrong with either one. If you prefer the slight better comfort inside the nose, in spite of being a little harder to insert properly, go with the 3M. I am going to have both versions with me, for now. It is not Spring here in SW Ohio yet. That will be the next real test for me. Then, I plan to travel to the Caribbean (forever Spring) in the summer. Another real test for me. Then, at the end of summer, ragweed season. That is the nuclear test for me!! I will update me review then.

They fall out & design makes unwearable
I was to get these nasal filters because I thought I had found a product that would actually work. However I was really disappointed with this. First of all the design is incredibly uncomfortable they do not stay in your nostril. You have to have a really wide nostril for the filters to fit. Even when I shoved them in halfway up my nose they still would not fit so they were basically a complete waste of money because you cannot wear them I am shocked that they had good reviews and I would recommend something different. Either invest in a mask to wear over your face or invest in some sort of allergen blocking nasal gel I have bought a great allergen blocking nasal gel from Amazon they have many different types but for me itโs a great product because it does seem to cut down on the allergens entering my body and I noticed that when I wear it I do not get the symptoms that I normally would if I wouldnโt wear it for example when I donโt wear it my nose will run I will get a headache I will get congested and Iโll feel tired when I put it on in the morning. After bathing and having my nose Celine rinsed it is really really effective for me especially with my problems and sensitivities to mold

Great Filters
These were amazing! Wore them for a festival weekend was the first time I didnโt get sick from the dust. I wore two a day and it caught everything.

Make my nose run, SIZE UP!
I have a cricket farm and they smell. I got these in the hopes I wouldnโt have to wear a mask, but alas, they donโt work for me. Originally I bought the small because my nose is small and I can barely get a pinky tip into my nostril (think what you want or me, we all need to get inside our nose sometimes!) they were much too small, so I ordered a medium. These were also too small, because the shape of your inner nostril is not a perfect oval, or at least mine is not. A tight seal may be able to be achieved with a slightly larger size that may be fitted in there because skin and cartilage will make room for it. This said, if you do get them to fit snugly, they apparently pressed some sort of secret sensor inside my nose that sends a signal to clear whatever foreign object thatโs in your nose out and my nose just started running like crazy and I had to keep pulling them out to blow my nose. You do NOT want to put these back in after you have to pull them out for excessive snottage. I wanted them to work so badly, but it is a no-go for me.

Worth it for allergies
I genuinely feel like they make a difference. I have really bad allergies, and there are only so many places that I can filter the air. My dog also sleeps in bed with me. I've started wearing these at night, and then if I am outside on days when the pollen count is high. Occasionally I'll wear them out other places as well as needed. The filter is relatively thin, yes, but they still can trap stuff. They aren't going to trap everything, but even if it traps 90% that is a massive difference for people with allergies (I'd guess its more than 90%). You are technically supposed to throw them away after 8 hours, but I will rinse them with hypochlorous acid and let them dry and reuse them a couple of times. So far it hasn't been an issue. This isn't the type of filter that will trap gasses, so you'll still be able to smell everything through it. If your issue is fragrances (like plug in air fresheners) it won't do you any good. I'm sure it would help some around smoke/fires, but you'll still have some particles get in. It also won't protect you from viruses the way an N95 would. It probably decreases the total count, but don't rely on it. If you are doing it for allergies, you'll want to make sure you start wearing them before you're allergies get bad. If you get congested and have a runny nose, that will just ruin the filter (or at least you'll need to be rinsing and drying regularly. Definitely buy the sample pack first to find your size. Yes its expensive for essentially one working pair, but it will be worth it. And overall I do find them pretty expensive for what you are getting. I can't see these things costing more than 5 cents a pair to make, but in my eyes spending $10 a month or so to be able to breath is worth it. If you have the right size, its comfortable and easy enough to use. But that is why you need to try the sample pack. I personally don't have issues with them falling out. Totally separate bonus though, if you have trouble breathing through your nose when you sleep, these will open your airways up enough (assuming you aren't congested). If you don't need them when you sleep (or only need them at certain times of the year), but you other wise snore, pop the filter out and just use it to open up your airway.

BUY THESE THEY ARE THE ONES YOU WANT
5 stars across the board. Not a fake review. I was looking at all the different sellers and kinds for awhile and decided to get these because they made of soft plastic with a 3M filter inside and because you get 10 of them. These are created made in the USA. I got them for allergies cause it's super bad here in Oregon right now. I got the Large size because I want them to not fall out like some people complained about in the comments. My nostrils are a medium but don't get what you think you need, get the next size up like I did. They fit snug inside my nose and stay in place. You do have to remove them from time to time to blow your nose but because of allergies and that's expected. I can totally breathe super easy like as if they weren't there. These are comfortable and don't hinder anything. Thank you for making a great product I can wear that doesn't fall out and I can use for these absolute horrible allergy times as this year pollen is super bad. I no longer have to wear a mask.

Wanted to love, but flawed
I purchased these as an alternative to a full mask when traveling frequently for work. This was post-pandemic in 2023. Context - I am immunocompromised and travel for work to NY, Atlanta and LA regularly. I don't like to wear a full face mask as we all know now they can be a pain for various reasons but did want to try this as more discreet extra protection against germs/allergens when flying and navigating densely populated areas. Pros: Easy to place design Many sizes included - very important to use the right size (I have what I consider a "normal" size nose and wore a medium) 3M filtration is top notch Cons: Expensive Not reusable so once you find your size the others in the pack are useless unless you give them to someone else Looks like you have something stuck up your nose / draws attention Breathing felt abnormal entire time while using, you feel a slight blockage through your nose because its slightly impeding your airway Overall I really love the concept and I am not too worried about the vanity of attracting attention by the look of it (My health>looks from strangers) BUT I don't feel this worked very well. I had to constantly mess with it to feel as though I could breathe normally thus I was having to put my hands in and up my nose area which defeats the purpose of protecting against germs. It is disposable too so the price is not justified for a 1x use product. Do not recommend.

Falls out and you would take it with your hands and that doesn't make it good in the corona times
Not sure if this works, people unfortunately see it and ask about it and it doesnt stay all day so you would touch it with your hand and that is not good

I am now happy with them... but..
I am now satisfied with these but you should basically ignore the fitting guide. These are meant (apparently) to be fully inserted in the nostrils with the plastic half-ring tight against your septum. For me - as soon as i tried fitting them this way it wasn't long before at least one of the filters would turn side-ways in one of my nostrils resulting in ineffective filtration. There doesn't seem to be anything to grip them and keep them in place when fully inserted. However - what i noticed was is that there is a groove in the design of the filters. I found that by inserting them at the very edge of my nostrils i could get this groove to slot in-between and grip the cartilage at the entrance of the nostrils. I have demonstrated this with some pictures that i have added. Once slotted in place at the entrance of the nostrils they stay put (at least for me) but ONLY if you purchase a size one size larger than actually fits you. I initally bought the medium size - which was about the right size for me and although these slotted in ok and were comfortable there was still enough 'play' in them to eventually work themselves loose, (but not always). I then bought the large size - at first i found them uncomfortable as they really did stretch my nostrils but i soon got used to this. I also found them MUCH easier to breath through than the medium set as my nostrils were being forced wider. The extra size kept them firmly in place and they have not come loose since. The only difficulty is in the initial fitting as the larger size takes some practice to slot into place. Although they are more noticeable when inserted at the entrance of the nostrils they are still far less noticeable than walking around with a face mask on all the time. Once used i then remove them and clean them with an alcohol wipe and store them in the provided carrying case. I keep using the same set until they begin to darken and then i switch to a new set. I have also noticed that if i breath in through my nose and out through my mouth i get less 'runniness' in my nose. It is a real pain having to remove them to blow your nose. All in all i am now happy with them and i will continue to use them - i hope this review has been helpful.

uncomfortable
Really difficult to fit in the nostrils in the way that prevents it from falling off.
