These knives are a great buy for yourself or for a gift. I like the holder especially since it's very sleek and doesn't take up much space on the counter top. The holder is not wooden so you don't have to be concerned about bacteria and mold inside the wooden knife holder. The knives have a great feel in your hands. They are very sharp and easy to clean. Just don't leave them in the sink. The mini santoku knife is so nice and can be used as a multipurpose knife. All in all, for the home cook and anyone who appreciates great knives or just starting out with learning how to use professional knives, this set is a great way to go. Great cooking must be accompanied with great knives!

I checked with a few others that had bought these knives, here on Amazon and heard nothing but good stuff. My main concern was if the where sharp as we like to cook alot. They are definitely sharp. My boyfriend cut his self the first time he used one. He was trying to cut something frozen to test how sharp the knife really was. The cut wasn't that bad and knives past the test! I also love the style as it goes perfect with my kicthen decor. As far as cleaning the knives I have had no problem. I usually dry them right away to not cause rust or water spots but haven't tried the dishwasher yet. We are very satisfied with our knives along with the price.

I ordered this set for an Airbnb that I host. I was pleasantly surprised at the craftmanship of the items when they arrived. Based on the reviews, I expected it to be a bit flimsy, but found it very classy, sturdy and easy to hold . I was so impressed that I am considering ordering another set for my home. Of course, I have not put it through the challenge of the day to day wear and tear that a Airbnb items can take, but even if it needs replacing in a year, I thing the price was economical enough to warrant the purchase. Will have to see if any break or rust, can not comment on that yet, but so far so good, very pleased with the items. Cuisinart scores again for me!

We use our knives every day and I've used a sharpener on them and they hold an edge well. The only knock is that they can spot if you let water sit on them at all. I had a few which went through the dishwasher and the handles look like they would have rusted if I hadn't seen it in time. Lesson learned.

Love these knives! After reading countless reviews, I decided to go with these. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. I've had them for several months now and they are still sharp as the day I bought them and still look brand new. Many of the reviews I read said that they rusted buy I have not had that problem. I've left them soaking in the sink and I wash them frequently in the dishwasher and they are still shiny and nice, no rust. This has to be one of the sharpest sets of knives I've ever purchased and they are very well made, strong, sharp knives. Given the price, I'm very impressed!

i have never laid eyes on knives as beautiful as these... its sharp, designed beautifully, and durable... if thats what you are looking for in a knife, look no further because these will be the best you get for this price range. however the steak knives are a little bit thin for my liking but because its so beautifully designed its makes up for it. Cuisinart really nailed it with this set, they've got a good weight to them and whenever you use them it feels so luxurious. it feels as if you paid hundred of dollars for it when in actuality you paid less than a hundred. as a personal preference, ive always washed knives by hand and dried them immediately afterwards to prevent staining, but these look like they'll hold up in the dishwasher as well. no rusting if you take proper care of them. i just wished they made a butcher's knife in the artiste collection.

I love this cutlery set! They arrived pre-sharpened, and they STAY sharp. Easy to hold, and have a decent weight to them... but not too heavy and certainly not flimsy. There is a good selection in the set to handle any of your feast prepping needs, and even the steak knives can cut through the toughest over-cooked piece of meat.

Excelente juego de cuchillos, se ven y se sienten muy bien, además de venir bastante afilados. La verdad creo que durarán mucho tiempo en buen estado siempre que se sigan sus cuidados (afiliarlos de vez en cuando y limpiarlos después de lavarlos)
