GX16 10 Pins Panel Metal Mount Circular Metal Aviation Connector Adapter Male Female Plug Socket (5 Pcs)

I have checked and tested the fit for these "aviation" connectors, and the quality of the connectors. They were a great buy and will work great as a replacement microphone plug for the many Lafayette CB radios waiting to be refurbished in my shop. Thanks for a great product.

The 10 pin connectors were surprisingly easy to solder and provided a firm connection with minimal added electrical resistance. The aluminum plug back shell clamps around the wires and threads onto the pin body. You will need to be cautious to not unwind the wires from the pins since there is no locking mechanism. This should not be a problem for most uses and these are a great value for DIY projects.

Decently made and easy enough to solder with the 10 pin but some of the soldering tabs where touching in the panel side.

This arrived just as described, all pieces were present and in great condition, all 5 connector sets (male & female) come in a thick & durable resealable bag so you can store the ones you don't need right away and save for later without worrying about humidity and corrosion getting to them. I installed one right away on a small MIG welder that needed the male connector replaced and it worked perfect. Keep in mind that you do need to solder these to install, you'll require a soldering tool & a bit of know-how to make use of these.

Used one of these to make a mic interface data cable for a Radioddity QT80 amateur radio for use on FT8. Works perfect so far!!

Well made connectors. Wish manufacturers would standardize descriptions to clear up how they work or don't work with other series. I like the simple GX16 / 8 pin in the description, however why not also show the opposite types too? If you need a GX16 / 8 pin in a female panel mount you can't search that. The one I finally found says "reverse". Confusing, along with some of the photos show the two connected, you can't tell which side is which.
