Not suitsuitable for use with lens hood

protects the iris lens cover and keeps dust and moisture out
easy to fit ,protects the camera lens from dust and accidental damage. just beware the double sided tape can come unstuck with high temperatures however it sticks back on

Sorry, a waste of money.
Not really effective.. very fiddly and adhesive doesn't stick. Nice idea but simply doesn't work.

Great solution for adding a filter.I have now added a warming filter 81A to improve the 'cold' cast of landscape photos. the cap keeps it protected. If filter and cap removed than it is practically the same dimensions of original but 1.It will not fit in any of the cases (megagear etc, or panasonic official case) when has filter and cap on 2. The filter ring is stuck on permanently and 1. if you need to get more 3M tape it is available, it is 3M 300LSE double sided tape. 2. Somewhat cheaper on other web sites

Not compatible with Sony rx100
This has worked really well at keeping lens on my Sony rx100 protected for 18 months. I am now having to remove it as I have started using the flash. With this on it casts a crescent shadow across the bottom of all pictures when using the flash. I am taking it off today using hairdryer to soften the glue and some fine fishing wire to cut through the glue. Wanted to write this review to inform others. If I had known this I would not have put it on as I may now break the camera when taking it off.

Great device that works.
Fitted to my Canon camera. Very easy to fit and build quality is good. Would recommend if you need to fit filters and your device does not have the facility.

Richtig coole Idee! Der Ring wird auf den Gehäusering des Objektivs geklebt. (2 weitere Ersatz Klebchen liegen mit bei). Der Ring kann dann mit weiteren Filtern/Gläsern bestückt werden. In diesem Falle ein separater Polfilter und Schutzkappe. Passt hervorragend und wertet die Möglichkeiten der Kamera nochmal auf.

Accessorio indispensabile (anche per la Canon G5x Mark II)
Nonostante la Canon G5X Mark II non sia indicata tra i modelli compatibili, l’adattatore risulta perfettamente compatibile anche con questa fotocamera. Supporta filtri da 49mm e include un filtro UV protettivo, utile per prevenire l’ingresso di polvere sul sensore. L’adesivo ha un’ottima tenuta e nella confezione è presente anche una pellicola di ricambio. Consigliatissimo: è un grande vantaggio poter montare qualsiasi filtro sulla fotocamera.
