I've only used this vacuum cleaner a couple of times, but it seems a good-quality product. It appears to be robustly constructed and comes with a useful selection of accessories, as well as its own carry bag. (The bag's zip sometimes doesn't fasten properly, but it hasn't broken, it's just slightly askew). The one thing I would have liked, now that I have used a portable car vac (for possibly the first time in my life) is a two-speed power setting. Otherwise I am extremely satisfied overall - and the after-sales support has been superb.

I wanted a simple vac for cleaning the car but wasn't willing to spend a lot of money. The ThisWorx model was well reviewed and on offer at 25 pounds is half the price of a lot of similar products so seemed like a good choice. I've used it once for about an hour (not continuous but frequent switching on and off) and found it perfectly adequate for normal car cleaning. It's a dry only cleaner (no liquids) but deals well with the usual crumbs, mud, popcorn, sand and other detritus that the kids drag in. It needs to be used with the engine running and it's not particularly strong, but sucks easily well enough to get the carpets clean and get the dirt out of the crevices, cup holders, under the seats etc. The only thing it struggled with was long hairs, grass cuttings and similar stuck in the pile of the carpet, which is generally more difficult to remove even by hand. But using the edge of the nozzle as a scraper mostly freed up whatever was stuck. It's light, easy to empty and has a good long cable so I could reach everywhere on a big estate car from a single socket in the boot. Some useful accessories too (essential to get the most out of the suction in the awkward corners by using the most appropriate size nozzle), a really handy built-in torch which was great for cleaning the footwells and even a storage bag which takes the vac and all accessories. I'm not sure yet about it's durability but the promise of immediate replacement (without needing to return the previous unit) from the manufacturer is a superb offer. I'll update the review if I have any problems but for the moment I'll happily give it 5 stars for a competent car vac which is good value for money. No complaints at all for this price.

Hoover good but have to run the engine My ignorance I thought I could plug it in Hoover strong but suction with hose is like the garage Hoover in Ireland 🇮🇪 so was disappointed Should of probably read up properly on product before purchase

Used it for a while now, I use it for my car and mostly daily usage. It has the wire for car so only for cars.Easy to clean and put back together. I had a wireless one before but the sucction was not good, but this one solve the problem. Highly recommended 👌

Would not buy again

Bought on special for £21.74. Returned it because the suction wasn't very good at all. I'm giving 2 stars because it comes in a handy bag, it has extra attachments which would all be great if it actually did the job it's intended to do. Looks nice, was light. I returned this and instead bought a cordless chargeable one which has way better suction than this one, has the same attachments, but can also be used everywhere(not just i n the car).
