Loved it Then and Loved it Now
I saw this movie originally when I was a teenager and loved it. Watching now many many many years later and I still love it. Is it a cinematic masterpiece. No but then it wasn't meant to be. It's just good cheesy fun with fantastic music. I will say that Peter Frampton was not my favorite but the BeeGees were just fantastic.

Fun look at great music legends being cheesy as they cover the Beatles
Just here for Billy Preston, Earth Wind and Fire, and Steven Tyler being a bad boy. The eye candy was nice too. Side performances by Steve Martin and Alice Cooper were fun. Just offbeat silliness with great music.

A wonderful film with a who's who of disco.
A wonderful film with a who's who of disco.The Bee Gees and Peter Frampton do a wonderful job with the Beatles music.Narrated and featuring George Burns.Horror icon Donald Plesance is great as sleezy record executive And Steve Martin as a crazed dentist. Alice Cooper ad Aerosmith and Earth Wind and Fire also perform.no spoiler but the closing scene before credits is a roster.I recommend this.

Un classico introvabile in Italia. E non solo, dato che non l’ho trovato neppure a Londra, a Manchester o a Liverpool. Alla fine degli anni ’70 comprai il doppio LP. Mi innamorai subito dell’idea di Robert Stigwood, degli arrangiamenti di George Martin, delle fantastiche reinterpretazioni dei Bee Gees, di Peter Frampton, Billy Preston, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Earth wind & fire… Avrei voluto vedere il film, ma in Italia non arrivò mai. Oggi, a quasi quarant’anni di distanza da quel momento, ho realizzato un sogno. Grazie Amazon!

So bad, it’s good
I’m a huge Beatles fan, but I had never seen this movie before. The critic reviews from the time are universally terrible. However, a friend said it was good campy fun , so I gave it a go. It’s daft, the story makes little sense and the acting at times is a bit ropey. However, the more I watched, the more I laughed and the more I enjoyed it. Good harmless fun for all the family, with great songs. So bad....it’s good !
