Nice rower!
I like this rower. I had an old fan rower with a chain and it eventually broke. No parts available to repair it. I wasn't looking for anything fancy to replace it. I am a runner and in the winter when it gets too cold and icy I switch to indoor activities like the rower and elliptical. I think this is a great rower for the money! It is smooth and has been working well. It took me about 30 minutes to put together which included unwrapping all the pieces. All the parts were there and the directions were easy to read. It is much sturdier than I expected. I am a 5'9" female. The old rower used to "walk" a little if you got going too fast but this one is pretty stable. I think it would do well with someone a little taller and heavier as well. I don't have lots of upper body strength so I am good with the fan rower. I wasn't looking for a magnetic with tons of resistance levels. Like most fan rowers, you work harder if you row faster. I am not sure of longevity as I just started using it a week ago but so far so good! I typically use it 3-4 times per week working my way up to 30 minutes at a time.

Very functional rower
I'm new to rowing. There were so many options to choose from! I settled on this air rower and have been very happy with it. It has a nice smooth glide and isn't super noisy. I like that I can adjust how hard I work without having to push buttons - I just row harder and/or faster to increase the intensity of my workout. The rower feels very sturdy and was relatively easy to assemble. It took my husband (who is very handy) about 40 minutes - including pulling off all the packing material - which was considerable. I'm a 67 year old woman and in fairly good shape for my age. I already walk and bike; but wanted to add rowing as an option. For my purposes, this rower is great and very reasonably priced for the quality.

Simple and sturdy, which is what you should want
I bought (and returned) a competing product, which is more expensive and is junk (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KCRJNK9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). This rower is much more solid, there are fewer pieces to assemble, and the components are better quality. I don't understand how the other one is rated at a higher weight because this is much more solid. This is a human-powered fan and it sounds like it. The other rower is "magnetic" and was supposed to be silent (it squealed like a pig), this makes noise like a fan, which I find much less annoying. There's no tension to adjust (the other one is adjustable, but you barely feel the difference) so if it's not difficult enough, pull harder and faster. I'm middle-aged, overweight, and out of shape. This works fine for me.

Great start
I'm 6'6". I've been using an elliptical and total gym 5-6 days a week for years. After I wore out my 3rd elliptical in eight years (I used it alot) I decided to go a different route. So I bought this rower. It's been 3.5 weeks and I can't come to a complete review but at this time I'm very happy with this rower. I'm doing 40 minutes 2 days a week + 20 minutes 3 days a week (plus total gym those 3 days). It's too early to say how worthwhile it's been but it certainly feel like it's been a very worthwhile investment. At first it was not simple. It works the body very differently than an elliptical. So it took a little while to adapt. But it's been a great start. I look forward to increasing the duration every few weeks. So far my wife says the results are obvious. Update: I've been using this rower for about 1.5 years 2-4 times most weeks. It still works the same as it did the first time and I really like it. The one problem? My shoulders are wider than ever and some clothes no longer fit because of the increased shoulder width alone (though I think my wife likes the results).

Great addition to home gym
Currently had a 10 yo spin bike and treadmill in the home gym and wanted to add another low impact option that included more upper body. I am not a professional athlete, nor had I ever really rowed before except randomly at the gym but relatively fit. I wanted to keep the cost under $400, didn't need video or tracking other than time and strokes/minute. I spent a lot of time researching air, magnetic and combo rowers in this range. Anyone doing this knows there are a TON of options. Because I didn't know how hard/easy the magnetic rowers were, I simplified the resistance options and went with air resistance which also narrowed the options in this price range. I have had the rower for a week and am very happy so far. SO easy to put together. It only comes in 4 parts and all the bolts/washers/tools are in a clearly labelled package. It took less than 30 minutes to put together. The only piece not sure will last is the foot pedals, feel VERY thin and cheap and can't quite get my feet feeling super secure. But, rowing is really smooth and at least for now, the resistance adjusts just fine when I try to row faster. Very happy with this purchase.

Deliver's greater value than the cost would indicate
Super easy to assemble and delivers a good workout. A little different for me as my previous rower was attached to weights for resistance training as well, but got comfortable with it in a short time. Display is minimal, but has the essential functions. Worthwhile purchase and good quality materials.

Very easily put together and smooth row - CHANGE OF REVIEW! - Updated once again
It was very easy to put together - probably 30 minutes total. The rowing is very smooth and for the price you can't beat this machine. We are very happy and have used it daily for the past few weeks. I highly recommend this fan style ! Unfortunately, after 3 weeks of use - this rower broke. Once you pull the cables back - they do not retract - they go completely limp. We have it taken apart and tried to put it back together per the original instructions, but makes no difference. When requesting a return - I was told I was past the 30 days, (mind you, by 5 days) and to contact the manufacturer. I have no idea how this will be resolved, but I will definitely update this post once it is complete. This was being used by a 140 pound 7 month pregnant woman - so it was not being abused at all. At this point - I would not recommend the product or the seller. After contacting the manufacturer directly - they did send a new machine and sent a FedEX shipping label to return the defective machine. The new rower has been in use for 1 week with no issues so far. My daughter in law is now 8 months pregnant, so won't be rowing much in the upcoming months. I will make sure to update again once she is in full swing of her routine.

I like it for now...
So I guess I shouldn't have expected something extraordinary for this price, considering there are rowers out there for over $1k. It's pretty solid, and arrived super fast. However, it does not give too much resistance no matter how hard you row. It will be fine for me for now as I try to get in shape again after falling off track over the past few years, but eventually, it might not cut it. Not sure if it would have been worth it to spend the extra 200 bucks for one that is both fan and magnetic. It's also louder than expected (the fan rower at the gym had a different sound). The sound is kinda cool, as long as I don't wake up anyone in the house during an early morning workout haha. It's nice to get some sort of cardio since I can't run or do much else due to a foot injury that refuses to heal. A half hour workout felt good. So yea... pretty good if you're on a budget and not training for the Olympics. Nay if you live in an apartment or have close neighbors.
