Review: The best book I have read on FX trading - What I enjoyed the most about this book is its practicality. Brent has a lot of industry knowledge and real experience trading FX and it shows throughout the book. No fluff, just real actionable practical advice. It has already improved my profitability. Definitely one to re-read from time to time. Review: Best book on currencies, Macro, and trading out there...by a mile. - Brent's book is by far the best book on currency and Macro trading out there...by a mile. It's probably also the best all round trading book I've every read too. It's written in a nice light hearted, easy to read, no BS style. He covers all the key topics (the stuff that's way more important than technical analysis) with great structure and practicality, with good historical examples (some quite recent). Most books written on currency trading are almost entirely devoted to technical analysis, with no attention to fundamental analysis and risk management, risk-reward etc. Brent goes much further and explains how institutional players approach currency markets.

Fantastic read and full of valuable wisdom
I've really enjoyed this book, it's a must-read for all traders. Brent excludes any filler and gets straight to the point on numerous subjects key to trading success. The book covers a lot of detail but is very well structured and easy to absorb. It's very well structured and I like the end of chapter overviews. Unlike other similar books you can tell the author is highly experienced and he' s very generous with information given. Reading this book gives you an edge in trading the markets. Looking forward to reading it again soon, highly recommended.

A must for all traders.
Whether you are a new to trading or a seasoned professional this book is a must on your desk. If you only buy one book for currency trading then this is it. Brent has nailed the content giving the reader an understanding into exactly what professional traders do. This book teaches you how to apply macro, news, technical analysis, cross-market correlation, currency crosses, positioning, and plenty of other important insights to come up with intelligent trade ideas. Can't praise this book enough. Well done Brent

Great Read
Clear, concise overview of everything trading. If you want depth for technical analysis then this is NOT the book however the book pieces all the trading variables together and gives you plenty to think about. I will need to read again such is the depth of information content but an easier than expected read for a financial book.

Good for a beginner
The book clearly targets the total beginner in the FX space and not anyone with experience. At 25% into the book, one has learned about the history of currency markets, market participants and how to read currency pairs. Then some basic concepts of technical analysis. So far just basics which is probably part of a basic education course offered by most brokers for free. The next part is a bit more useful as it deals with risk management and position sizing. I found some of these tips actually good advice for a novice but again, nothing really new for anyone with experience. It is also good to see the author describing some typical scenarios of emotional rollercoaster a trader might experience. While correct, anyone with experience will know that reading about it is nowhere near the same as experiencing it. I would have given the book a higher rating if it was advertised solely for beginners.

Best trading book on currencies ever written
Finally a decent book on currency trading has been published. There is so much laughable material out there which amateurs believe will be the key to easy money. The reality is that currency trading requires an astute grasp of fundamentals, technical, risk management and trader psychology. It also requires capital, which is what a lot of books for the amateur market seem to overlook. This book breaks it down and makes the pros strategies accessible to amateurs. It doesn’t mean that anyone who reads this will make money. But it’s a superb overview and provides enough detail to give even a seasoned amateur new ideas or tips. Well done Brent Donnelly.

simply the best book on this subject with is holistic approach
This is not a book about how to get rich in 20 days This a *true* guide about forex trading nothing more Why give it 5 stars then ? because it is the only book around of this quality. Every small details you need to know (reading/interpreting the news, correlations between pairs, difference between positioning and market sentiment, etc) but most importantly it tell you how to use everything together. I have yet to see anyone putting it so clear and so well written with choke full of examples of the CURRENT time span. It's a real trading book wrote by someone with a real and long experience.
