Has anyone tested to make sure that it doesn't overly charge the batteries?

I can't say I have "tested" the specific mah per charge but so far so GOOD! Most convenient and fast...

Is this charger "smart" at all? Or does it charge any battery for the same amount of time?

Well, it is smart in the respect that it will stop charging the battery when it is full. When the light turns off, you’re good to go. That’s all, really.

Will this charger work for a 1s 3.7v 150 mah li-po battery?

Yes, it will. I have one and charge all my 1S batteries using it. When charging, the built-in light is on. When fully charged, the light goes out.

Is this device being held together by screws or clips? I'm interested in modifying the output connection of this device to have more compatibility.

I see no evidence of either screws or clips. I made a JST adapter using a 1S HG Amp UM battery lead.
