Is there a charge for delivery to the highlands? Amazon says free delivery but product page states mainland only, even though we are!

please whats the width as i need about 58"

from the outside of each opposing pole the width is about 52". At the top there is an overhang of about 5 1/2" each side making the width at the top approx 63". NB. it is a good product but if you buy it assemble it on the ground. Putting in the screws even with a powered screwdriver is a nightmare

Do you mean the diameter of the upright poles? If so, they are about 4 or 5 inches cross. The gap underneath the arch is at lest 2 1/2 feet. This is from memory, not actually going outside to measure. But the whole thing is quite sturdily made.
