I loved this book. I am computer engineering student and didn't have any background of python but this book helped me out and from it I learned alot.

Really a good book for beginners it covers the concept from very basics of programming and taking to intermediate level.

Concepts of Python are explained from a very basic to high level. A good material, if you want to become a Python programmer.

Excellent book. Excellent narration by the author. I highly recommend this book for anyone wishing to learn Python. There is actually Version 2 of the same book available. I did not know at the time of purchase.

Not for advance student

i am a advanced python user and i must say this book is amazing, it covers everything you will need to know to make basic and advanced programmes , would highly recommend to beginners and even experienced programmers like myself.

The author is mad as a python programmer could be.Learning a lot from it.Using a udemy course and this is my reference for when the course doesn’t communicate what I need to know.Fun to read and easy to work through.I’m recovering from a head injury that stole my programming so this is more fun the second time around.More python to play with makes lots of female programmers happier.

I know nothing about programming and bought this to get a basic understanding. By chapter 2 the practice programme does not work and keeps producing an error. As a result I'm now doing the research to find out what the error code means and how to correct it using the internet - which is what I wanted to avoid as I spend significant periods without internet access. I am learning but at a very slow pace due to this issue.

It is a pleasure to read and provides plenty of examples for the user to try. I strongly recommend this book for anyone, including experienced software developers, firstly as a guide to the design and development of a quality text but secondly as a gem for the detailed information it provides.

Clear, concise, practical help in creating your very first Python programs. I'm a total beginner with Python, with only basic coding skills, and I really enjoyed working through the exercises, and feel i now have a good grasp on taking the next steps. Great book!
